Wool!
This is an example of every ball of wool in my wool stash. Not a very big one, until you consider I've only been knitting/collecting since mid-July. Yarns are: (l-r, from top) Stylecraft 'Gypsy' dk, intended for a hat. 100% nylon. Jumbo dk, part of a project. 100% acrylic. Rowan 'Cashcotton' 4ply, intended for armwarmer/gloves. (Pink and dark purple) 35% cotton, 25% polyamide, 18% angora, 13% viscose, 9% cashmere. Patons 'Washed haze', aran. Intended for a poncho/drape. (14 balls of the stuff!) 50% acrylic, 50% cotton. Assortment of Egyptian cotton blends. (4x small blue or purple balls.) Peter Pan 'Darling' dk. (Large white and purple). 100% polyester. Stylecraft 'Icicle' dk. (sparkly white) 62% plyester, 38% metallised polyester. Wendy 'Velvet flake'. (mixed blue, purple/blue/green). 100% polyester. Sirdar 'Wow!'. (Actually blue, not black). Vaguely intended for something shawl-like. 100 % polyester. Various 100% acrylics, parts of projects and several misc. intentions. I love my wool. *snuggles* |

I just had the strangest mental image of Spock knitting with wool emerging from a wriggling tribble.

They're so soft and have such beautiful colours! I spend a lot of my money on yarn too haha (:
I really should update this, as the stash has kind of...exploded since but I don't think it'd all fit into shot.
